WHAT'S COOKING LOS ANGELES
1. New, unique taco spot just opened up in Silverlake!
MidEast Tacos - This new taco spot blends both Armenian and Mexican flavors together🌮🧆🌯. The chef/owners have been in the LA food-scene for some time - making their mark at Smorgasburg. Lucky for us the menu includes gluten-free options. Check out some photos from MidEast Tacos' Instagram:
2. Don’t miss this plant-based butcher and vegan deli shop in Highland Park
Maciel’s - This incredible spot opened up in 2022, showcasing just how dynamic vegan food can be🚫🥩🌱🧀. You can order a classic Reuben sandwich (GF bread option) made with “pastrami”, sauerkraut, vegan cheese, and vegan Russian dressing. Or, choose from one of their other menu items featuring plant-based cold-cuts made from ingredients like chickpeas, vegetables, seitan, and tofu. Check out these photos from Marciel's Instagram:
3. New, swanky cocktail lounge (minus the alcohol) just opened up in Chinatown
Stay. - Yes, you read that title right. There’s a new zero-proof cocktail lounge in town🍸🍹🍷🍺. “Stay.” serves non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails, wine, and beer in an very swanky, and comfy looking venue. !4. New, elevated seafood spot recently opened in Redondo Beach
Salt & Pearl - I’ve heard really good things about this new spot, and I was delighted to know that their menu comes with gluten-free options.
